Integrative therapy
As an integrative therapist, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to support you in a way that feels right for you. There is no one-size-fits-all in therapy, so I use a flexible approach, blending techniques from different schools of counselling to meet your individual needs.
Most importantly, I believe the relationship we build together is at the heart of the counselling process. Feeling safe, understood and accepted makes it possible to explore your thoughts and feelings openly, and this supportive relationship is where real change can begin.
Everyone’s journey is unique. Some people find it helpful to look back at past experiences to understand patterns in the present, while others prefer to focus on current challenges and practical steps forward. We will work together in a way that fits you—your personality, your experiences, and your goals.
In my work, I draw on elements of the following therapeutic approaches:
Humanistic Therapy

Humanistic counselling is a therapeutic approach that focuses on your individual experience, personal growth, and potential. At the core of this approach is person-centred therapy, which values you as the expert on your own life.
Rather than giving advice or interpreting your thoughts for you, a person-centred counsellor offers empathy, acceptance, and a non-judgemental space where you can explore your feelings openly. This kind of relationship helps you develop greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, and confidence to make meaningful changes.
Humanistic counselling trusts in your natural capacity to heal and grow when you're truly heard and understood.
Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic counselling is based on the idea that our past experiences, especially those from childhood, can shape the way we think, feel, and relate to others in the present.
This approach helps you explore unconscious patterns, unresolved conflicts, and deep-rooted emotions that may be influencing your current behaviour or relationships. By bringing these into awareness, you can begin to understand yourself more fully and make lasting changes.
The therapeutic relationship itself often plays an important role, offering insight into how you relate to others and how past experiences may be repeating in the present.
Solution focused therapy

Solution focused therapy helps you identify and build on your existing strengths and resources. It focuses on what is working in your life and encourages practical steps towards the change you want to see. It is a forward-looking and empowering approach that can bring clarity and momentum, especially during times of uncertainty or feeling stuck.
