Qualifications and Experience

Supporting you feel at home in who you are

Hello, I am Inka. If you have ever felt different or out of place, you are not alone. I understand how that can feel. I identify as an introvert and a highly sensitive person, and I have experienced first-hand the challenge of navigating environments where I felt I did not quite fit in. I also understand how easy it can be to question yourself or feel that you need to adapt or mask in order to belong. This personal insight shapes the warmth, empathy and understanding I bring to my work.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in education, offering emotional and psychological wellbeing support to individuals with a wide range of needs and experiences, particularly those who found it difficult to feel belonging within mainstream settings. I hold a Master’s degree in Education, specialising in Additional Learning Needs and Inclusion, which has shaped my understanding of the many different ways we experience the world and the importance of recognising and valuing individual differences.

This background has deepened my appreciation of how our sense of belonging is influenced by the environments we live in and how we are understood by others. I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel accepted, valued and understood, without needing to fit into a particular mould.

My approach

I am an integrative therapist, drawing on Person-Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. This allows me to tailor sessions to your individual needs. Together, we can:

  • Explore how past experiences shape your present

  • Understand patterns in thoughts, emotions and relationships

  • Work practically with anxiety, self-doubt and confidence

I offer a warm, inclusive and non-judgemental space where you can be yourself, without pressure to change who you are. Alongside making sense of difficult feelings, we can begin to see difference is not simply as something to overcome, but as something to be understood, valued and embraced. My aim is to help you feel more at ease, more connected, and more confident in your own way of being.
